Bill brings more than 30 years of experience to representing plaintiffs and defendants in litigation. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1990, where he was a member of Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society. After a clerkship in 1990-1991 with U.S. District Judge E. B. Haltom, Jr. in Huntsville, Alabama, Bill obtained his LL.M. in Banking Law from Boston University School of Law in 1992. For the last twenty-five years, Bill’s practice has been devoted solely to civil litigation, including business, commercial, construction, banking, and real estate disputes.

After several years of general litigation practice and one year as a prosecutor, in 2001 Bill moved to Midtown Atlanta to practice civil litigation with a large Atlanta insurance defense firm. From 2004 to 2018, he had a solo practice at Lenox Center in Buckhead. In 2014, Bill was recognized for the previous year’s highest verdict in Georgia in the category of Business Law by the Fulton County Daily Report and its affiliate, Verdict Search.

Bill is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is licensed to argue cases before Supreme Court of Georgia and the Georgia Court of Appeals. Bill is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and several United States District Courts, including the Northern District of Georgia.
