Angele joined the firm as a partner in March of 2015.  A graduate of Emory University and Georgia State University College of Law, Angele has repeatedly been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star, an honor bestowed on less than five percent of lawyers in the State of Georgia.  Prior to joining the firm, Angele practiced commercial and real estate litigation for 11 years at Weissman, Nowack, Curry & Wilco, P.C., where she was a partner.  Angele has extensive experience in litigation, arbitration and negotiation of real estate and business disputes, including those arising out of contract, development and title.  She has successfully counseled national title insurance companies on various title and insurance coverage issues, such as easements, quiet title, equitable subrogation, and bad faith insurance penalty claims.  Angele regularly writes and lectures on issues of real property litigation and strategy.  Angele has also successfully defended numerous clients to summary judgment victories in cases involving personal liability, premises liability, real estate brokerage/agent liability, appraisal malpractice and veterinary malpractice.

In addition to litigation, Angele’s practice focuses on representing dentists at every step of their professional career.  Angele brings a unique perspective to her dental law practice as she has several family members who are dentists.  From starting a new practice to buying an existing practice, from navigating the complexities of real estate transactions and commercial leasing issues to explaining potentially fatal provisions in Independent Contractor and Restrictive Covenant Agreements, Angele’s extensive experience in real estate and business law serves her dental clients well, as she provides expertise on many sub-fields of law which can affect the success of a dental practice.  Angele has resolved hundreds of disputes both in and out of the courtroom.  She understands how to negotiate deals, prepare documents, and execute transactions in a way that avoids or mitigates legal risks.  Angele also provides counsel in times of difficulty and uncertainty, including partnership disputes, malpractice complaints and proceedings before the Georgia Board of Dentistry.  Whatever issue is facing her client, Angele combines her fundamental business knowledge of dental practices with her legal expertise to identity the most cost-effective solutions to any issue, which are least disruptive to the practice.
